PASTOR’S LETTER“Pero la compasiόn de Dios es muy grande,” Paul writes to the Ephesians (2:4), as the Spanish translation puts it. Even with my very limited grasp of the language, I can get the gist of it. “But God, who is rich in mercy…” When we begin with God’s mercy, begin with gratitude and deep contemplation of what God is doing, then whatever we do, whatever we face, we begin with the strength that only God can bring us. We are facing a challenging economic picture, but we are people of God’s strength and mission, so we will work with confidence in Jesus. As we were shaping the 2010 budget, our office manager, Vicki (Continued on page 2) |
